What is ukga?

If only the weather was always as good as on this vis map in this screenshot...

ukga.com is an online service aimed primarily at general aviation pilots and enthusiasts in the UK.

This is very much a "work in progress" and there's a lot more in the pipeline.   -For the moment we provide emailed NOTAMs, weather, and airfield news and events, and there is range of excellent flight planning tools providing PLOGs, nav planning, fuel planning, airfield info, weather, GPS downloads, and so on. There's much more in the flight planning pipeline too.

We recently introduced support for Bendix King / Skyforce Skymap GPSs in the flight planner, and GoogleEarth integration.  We've also just added an interactive NOTAM map and a weather map too.

It's all designed to lessen the time you spend on the ground in preparation, increasing the fun time up in the air!

Running ukga.com is a costly business and, whilst we don't charge for our own time, we need to pay for servers, hosting, software, text messages, and so on. We invite users to contribute an amount they feel is appropriate - whether that's £20 or £100, just donate what you think is right if you find the site useful.

Please note that this is entirely voluntary on your part. You do not have to pay anything if you don't want to - ukga.com will still be free for you.
