Welshpool Airport (EGCW)
Welshpool, Mid-Wales Airport, lies in the Severn valley, and is located about 2 miles south of Welshpool town. The airport was converted from a grass strip in 1990 to it's full tarmac runway. Now the airfield provides a range of commercial air services and still provides an excellent GA service for visitors and based aircraft.

| “ | Visited Welshpool on Thursday. Lovely scenic approach and really apealing airfield. No radio on Thursday but very quiet. Young lady in office welcomed us in.Landing fee £10
No cafe service during the week but coffee machine and a few snacks available. Powys Castle nearby which I understand has cafe facilities.
Would certainly visit again and possible try and visit Welshpool and look what services are available there.
Seems a good GA airfield
