Visited on 16th April 2008, ATC were very helpful upon arrival telephoning to find us a bed for the night, it was surprising to find that some places were fully booked in April! We got a taxi from the small terminal which cost £7 into town where we stayed in a guest house. Same price back in the morning. Fuel is sold seperte from landing fees etc, and no VAT receipt, although i did not ask and only got a visa chit. If you get to Stornoway make the effort to fly up to the top of Lewis, (Butt of Lewis) and take a pic. of the lighthouse. Landing and parking for a C172 was under £20 for one night.
