Were fairly impressed with this airfield. We spent a morning there and although we didn't eat we had a cup of tea. The food didn't smell the best so gave that a wide berth but the views and location made up for that. It has a small campsite near the apron which we would have liked to have tried at a later date but replying to e-mails is not there strong point so decided against that idea. Again, plenty to see and do in the local area and airfield is probably great on an airshow day for it's location. Hope to visit again soon and spend longer in the local area. ”
