Submitted by: Stuart Jewkes Flew in from the south on a clear, CAVOK day. The airfield was very easy to find from this direction because of the line of three power stations that "funnels you in". The airfield is very clean, tidy and obviously well maintained, with a superb clubhouse and cafe (top notch bacon butties!). The whole place seemed very professionally run, and the sign outside the office is worth the visit alone! Highly recommended. BTW don't let all that noise abatement stuff in the flight guides scare you, it's really no problem because all the NIMBY strongholds are clearly visible and easy to avoid... ; ) Loading full size image (922×614)...
