Currently doing my PPL at EGHD (Plymouth aka Roborough). Not been to many other aerodromes so haven't seen have much for comparison. During the week it can be moderately busy with a mixture of scheduled and training aircraft as well as police, military and air ambulance flights. The weekend tends to be quieter. ATC is always helpful as are the staff at the flying school. Airport is next to main Plymouth hospital and about 5 miles from the city centre, Barbican and Hoe. However, it is not really geared up for GA use and landing/parking are not cheap.
