Submitted by: roger penney Visited on 16th April 2008, stiff easterly wind makes 20 a bumpy approach with some wind shear, it was too windy across the runway the next day to call in for fuel. The viz was unlimited and I agree must be the best view from an airfield in the country. No cafe on the site, staff were most helpful trying to get in touch with Barra for us to land on the beach strip. We did not manage to raise them though.
