A wonderful airfield located on the site of the only USAF Bomber Group base in Hertfordshire during WWII. There are no club facilities on the airfield, however the Woodman is a 15-20 minute walk serving good food and provides accomodation. The airfield memorials are located next to the Inn. The BKY VOR is located on the extended centreline of the 720m runway 05/23. Located near Duxford, as ever it is wise to check NOTAMS for airshows etc Loading full size image (2272×1704)...
