Submitted by: Kevin Lewis Great airfield, very friendly right from the telephone call when getting PPR. AG radio very clear and friendly. Staff in 'The Squadron' - flying club and cafe also seemed really nice. This is an enormous runway, wide and very long, its easy to spot, and in reasonable condition. There is plenty of activity, and a nice outdoor seating area with picnic tables and what looked like a BBQ for the summer. Vey easy to find - watch out for Stansted CTA at 1500ft.
