Submitted by: Joe Heaton , Saturday, 2 Jul 2005 Yes, this was a diversion. Came from Scilly Isles up the South Cornwall and Devon Coast. Couldn't cross the land because the cloud base often fell below 800ft. Original Final Destination was Gloucestershire, refuel, then returning to Sheffield but the weather wasn't very pleasant at all, so made this our final stop for the day. Having spent all my money on 2 extra days of this fly away in St. Ives due to persistant low fog at Lands End, it was lucky my girlfriend lived in Torquay!
