| “ | Nearly £30 for a Cessna 172 and then park on a patch of grass which badly needed mowing! We had fuelled up first, so had to taxi from the pumps to parking, long walk out through security, (take some id with you), pay a landing fee at Air Southwest, they were helpful with weather, booking out etc. Food... there is a butty trailer in the car park recommended by a student, it was closed, (1500hrs) it was bank holiday, so we used the coffee shop in the terminal. Expensive, prepacked butties only. No fresh bacon butties or fry up! Seriously lacking in that department. Anyway, we were grateful for fuel and to have got away from Land's end which was fogged in all morning. ” |
