“Nice airfield with a good long runway – but very very quiet when I visited recently at the weekend – almost dead – the opposite of Le Touquet. Helpful staff. You need to give 24 hours' prior notice for Customs, by fax to the Dunkerque Customs office.

The airport restaurant has now closed permanently. ”

If you want a quick clear through into France, Calais is a good choice. Dead easy to find and we were in and out in fifteen minutes. Coming back through took thirty but twenty of that was drinking a café au lait in the bar. Efficient, knowledgeable and courteous staff. Tower couldn't have been more helpful. Reminded me of Lulsgate before it became Bristol 'International'. So relaxing and not a yellow jacket in sight. I'll be back!
