Pilot reviews of Brooklands FarmOther airfield reviews...

“I flew in in a Quantum 912 microlight on a land-away from Sandy. Geoff was very friendly and helpful on the phone; the site was unmanned because the weather was too heavy for Paramotors which launch from here I understand
The field is open, flat and firm (despite the bad flooding in the area) although the two 40' trees just outside the northern end of the field meant I had to be careful with my northerly take-off
The site is easy to find even though there are no landing strip edges to look out for because of it's location smack between the corner of where the A14 joins the A1, with the nearby Huntingdon (Brampton) racecourse as a landmark. There's enough space for the circuit without any obvious housing to worry about overflying neighbours too close too. ”
