Pilot reviews of Boughton Airfield

Other airfield reviews...

Sat 24 May - Paul Gandy - Heathfield
Flew into the ST Aviation jabiru fly-in at Boughton (South) Not to be confused with Boughton (North) which is just the other side of the road, Boughton is 5 miles South East of Downham Market Very good approaches and an excellent, long (800m) grass runway but watch out for the dip / hump It is in the RAF Marham MATZ so calls to Marham are essential and aproaches are from the south. The airfield has no facilites and PPR is required. There are noise restrictions so a briefing on circuit and noise abatement (avoidn the local villages) is necessary.
  • Standard of runway: 4
  • GA pilot briefing facilities: 3
