Submitted by: Julian Storey Alderney is the most wonderful little island. Three square miles populated by 2,300 of the nicest people you will find anywhere.
Without doubt the nicest of the Channel Islands (they're all nice - but Alderney tops my list) and the most perfect place for a GA trip. Everywhere is within walking distance.
